To All:

I thought I'd post this, and rebut myself, before someone posts that "Bill Gates is selling stock, the end is near!". We've all been through that enough, right?
--

Bill Gates has filed to sell 2.2 million shares of Microsoft stock since the beginning of the month, according to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission yesterday.

Gates's pending sale is valued at $198.9 million, according to the filings.

The pending sale represents less than 1 percent of Gates's holdings, which stand at more than 530 million shares.

Hmm. $198.9 million dollars. That's probably almost enough to pay the electricity bill on his new house. It's less than 1% of Bill's stock - he must still have faith in the future of Microsoft. Imagine that.

Can we avoid the senseless two-day argument that allows follows insider trading now? Thanks for your cooperation.

Eric
