Tom

On shorting DELL, they are coming out with earnings the 19th.
Fundamentals may override technicals in the short term. May get
a small run prior to earnings. JMHO

The person reporting the "two crows" candlestick pattern on DELL was mistaken. It wasn't two black crows--it was a "dogi" followed by a single black crow; and there was no gap up preceding them. In any case, there is a lot of soft information out there indicating that Dell had a blowout quarter. Lots of parties to reward employees, brokers raising earnings estimates, etc. Good luck if you short DELL.

Tom,

>>>> I have been wanting to short DELL forever and a day. Forunately, I have never done so but I am leaning towards taking a small short
position. Someone on the ideas thread said something about the chart for DELL showing some pattern that he referred to as "two crows" or something like that. <<<<<

It is not a true TWO CROWS, since the the DOJI or the SPINNING TOP should have actually gapped up on Tue. Just being technical, but it is close to a TWO CROW candlestick. From the looks of my technicals it is getting ready to pullback. When do they announce or did they already.
