Dear Jane: I lift this thread, our families, our lives , our nation and our spirits up to the Father in prayer on this national day of prayer. I lift up my earthly father who had some internal bleeding and is doing much better today. I give the Father our minds , our bodies, our emotions, our Life in Jesus name. I especially pray for the moral fabric of our nation, and our leaders. I pray for political 'division' where that division will lead us all into a closer relationship with The Lord Jesus. I pray for political unity where that unity is founded on Christian ethics and precepts. I pray the Lord write the Laws of God on our hearts and keep us in the ways of righteous behavior. I pray for all ministers of the faith, and all Christians that they have a non-judgemental attitude toward those that have stumbled. And I pray that the light of Christ so emit from all of our hearts that we will serve as a beacon to those lost in the darkness and the fog of life. I pray for national and personal repentance for leaving our faith, for serving other Gods, and for being everything but what the Lord has called us to be; and as I sign off I do so on my knees begging God for His forgiveness.
