I was just paying attention to an analyst I follow.

He pointed out that the bearish part of Greenspan's speech, which apparently went right by Wall Street, was that Greenspan referred to the cycle of derivative unwinding that is similar to what hurt the market in 1994. In 1994, the exposure in the derivatives arena was less than it is now, the analyst pointed out, and we have no precedent to refer to considering the magnitude of the problems presented if such an unwinding became an issue.

For whatever that's worth. His point also was to say that bad numbers would find few buyers; so in effect he is saying that buying the dip (if there is one Friday) is hazardous to your wealth.

For my own part, I just checked and found that going back to Tuesday afternoon I have not had a losing trade....10 in a row.

What the hell, I'm going to short it again around here.

>>Shorting Dell???...hummm...

Yeah, I know that it sounds crazy--but on on the other hand, Ihave never done it yet--so I only think crazy but don't act crazy:)

But I shall take all these warnings to heart -- especially that by the "dellhead" himself!!

So you and Dave have bought through the net and unless the others have not -- may be OJ will win his bet after all.
