Paul - If the patient they are treating is setting upright looking into a slit lamp with the doctor on the other side, or if they show a closeup of the eye and there are eight spots of light on it, it is safe to assume it is the Sunrise system. Also they will be talking about hyperopia or farsightedness (maybe presbyopia) if it is the Sunrise LTK system.

If they are talking about treating myopia and astigmatism as well, it is not the Sunrise system. If the patient is supine with a machine over his head, it is an excimer like the Visx or Summit Technology machines. If they are showing a procedure where the doctor is cutting the eyeball open with a knife or some other sharp object (cutting a corneal flap), then it is some other procedure.

The supine vs. seated upright was the state of the art 4 years ago when I was treated with the Sunrise LTK.
