Bobby; Make you a paper portfolio of these useing yahoo , weight
them by market cap.."the more cap the more shares you own" update
it about every two weeks..note the percetage move in your portfolio
and compare that precentage to the DOW and S&P..
also don't just look for divergance..if it by chance goes the other
way than the indexes..then it's revesal time.
GE BMY GLX IBM JNJ KO MO MRK T WMT XON BP MSFT PFE DIS LU.
USE THEM AS A GROPE. they are the most liquid of the equities..by
that I don't mean they move the fastest..they don't normally..
as their market caps are so large it takes a lot of shares traded
to move them the liguid part meaning a fund can sell a big batch
without killing the the price as much as they would on lesser
stocks..when a lot of funds get into selling these things to buy others it creates a problem..but hides it for a while, and
days or weeks latter the problem comes to a head.
They have robbed peter to buy into paul..ah but the entire market
is less liquid and when they go to sell paul ...or even after a point
peter..it don't work any more..but after the dip and when things get
tough that same grope will make money..when every thing else is
still getting hammered.
