ENMDs 600% increase was based on false info. Watson of DNA fame was misquoted in predicting a cure for cancer in 2 years; this is clearly stated in the url I posted. I suggest that if anti-sense technology were to be stated as being a cure for cancer by someone of Watson's stature, then we would see a comparable increase, albeit shortlived, for ISIP. Investor actions were irrational because they clearly did not do DD and unreasonably thought that a magic bullet (a safe cure!) had been found (despite decades of dead ends).

BTW, I would not expect a Human anti-sense drug to work well in a distantly related mammal because of differences in genetic structure; the technology does involve a mirror image of a dna fragment to put the kabosh on the cancer cell growth machinery. I do admit to being a non-expert on this though, and wellcome comments from technical experts.
