Was Osicom at the Hambrecht & Quist technology conference in S.F. in late April/early May?

It was pretty interesting, according to a report by Eric Savitz in the May 4th on-line Wall Street Journal.

Bruce Lapatkin, director of research at H&Q, likes communications stocks, citing Ascend (ASND), Cisco (CSCO), Advanced Fibre (AFCI), and PMC-Sierra (PMCS).

Kevin Landis, who manages several funds, also likes PMCS. Robert Bailey, CEO of PMCS, a chipmaker that sells to the telecom hardware makers, said "It's an arms race, and we're selling the bullets."

It was a long article, but there was no mention of FIBR. Pity.

CH, I remember David Pawlok saying a while back that they were skipping the InterOp and going to the SuperComm in Atlanta. Don't know why, unless they just decided the SuperComm was better exposure, and couldn't spare human resources for both shows. Since they pulled out some time ago, maybe they didn't forfeit much. Anyway, I guess the other was a better investment.

Anyway, their NAB appearance at LV couldn't have been better. They were positioned around big players with great exposure. I understand this drew a lot of attention...hopefully sales.
