Sounds like the past year's earnings are not something that this company wants scrutinized. I suspect there are too many elements of a nonrecurring nature.

The balance sheet will show the past year's earnings but won't examine it. Projections will not mean very much and could present a problem to the company in the future.

Not particularly encouraging news.
