Jim, there is absolutely no solid info regarding a partnership between Microsoft and Apple on Rhapsody being the basis for the IA-64 NT. There have been rumours that could be interpreted as pointing in that direction since last year. It's interesting that Apple's partner IBM has partnered with Sun for IA-64, leaving Rhapsody out. Apple hasn't announced a port to IA-64 but I'd expect that next week. After all Rhapsody is virtually the only Unix based system that hasn't announced a port to Merced. Rich
