News reports! I had a private e-mail from a Reporter and called him back this morning to answer some questions about my experience with looking at new cancer treatments during my wife's unsucessful fight with breast cancer. While I have no knowledge of the content of this article or even where it will be published I did get the impression that the slant of the article will be to the effect that it is unfortunate that the HYPE given Entremed may have given false hope to current cancer patients and their families. Personally, given my knowledge of ongoing research at other cancer research centers I am more concerned that once Etremed falls apart in the market it may make it more difficult to raise money for the many, many legitimate research programs going on right now!
