Maybe should have said <VBG> instead of just <G>. The frustration you obviously
perceived really was not directed at y'all! My point is that I *live* with
select, cut and paste! I know the ropes, believe me. I would not have posted
here unless it was a last desperate measure. (Kind of like a guy asking for
directions, eh?)

So, let me try to be explicit. I do not have netscape or explorer. I use the
default browser for AOL, whatever that may be. As I type this I can select
text and I get a big blue block indicating there is text selected. I then go
to *Edit* but the *Copy* function is not enabled, only the *Paste* function
is lit up and ready for clicking.

I'm pretty good at getting around things but this one's got me stymied. I really
appreciate the valiant attempts on this one, folks, thanks a lot! Perhaps now
that I have explained the exact nature of my miserable situation a solution will
be forth coming.

I await in eager anticipation.
