PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 7, 1998--ALYA International, Inc. ("ALYA" or the "Company") announced today the signing of a master distribution agreement with Ing. K. Simonsen A/S ("Simonsen") of Norway.

Simonsen will market ALYA products in northern Europe and particularly in Norway and Sweden.

Simonsen is one of the largest value added wholesalers in Scandinavia, established in 1964, presently with revenues of US$11.5 Million. Simonsen (http://www.simonsen.no/info_eng.html) distributes electronic, automation, and security systems for building applications and industrial automation. Simonsen is one of the founders and is the leader of the LonUsers Norway (association of manufacturers, distributors and end-users of LonWork based products) and has operations in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
