Santa Clara, California, May 7 (Bloomberg) -- 3Com Corp. fell as much as 7 percent on concern that sales at the No. 2 computer networking company will continue to fall amid competition from No. 1 Cisco Systems Inc. and other rivals. Other rivals? I assume they mean ASND for one and now I'm really starting to get sick here. ASND is what, about 42? Something is wrong here, real wrong. I've been doing everything I can to keep faith, first it's the Inventory thing, now this. Any little negative news bit that gets published and there is panic. Not for the life of me did I ever think we would be this much lower than ASND. Have you seen AAPL recently? They take drastic cost cutting measures and now they're shareholders are seeing a little action. Dammit they're only a couple bucks lower than COMS! This SUCKS! Whew! Glad I let off that steam! <G>
