Curious -- my long-term oil patch holdings (ESV, TDW, MAVK) were all down today, while my short-term, more "speculative" holdings (CRLBF, GIFI) were up (enough to cancel out the losses and bring me back to an unexciting but comfortable big fat zero). Does this prove anything? (Other than that I am perhaps not using the right method for selecting long-term holdings?)
