This is getting embarrassing - I must REALLY be dumb (in these matters only, of course). WHAT "copy link location"? Do you mean the URL that appears at the bottom of the page, in the box that reads: "To link to this reply, use the following location"? If so, there is no such box at the bottom of the page when you open up the thread and automatically get the introductory post. (It appears only if you do what Mr. B. recommended -- that is, type a "O" into the reply box of any other post on the thread.) Or perhaps it is hiding somewhere, along with the thread number?? jbe
