No rush, but I hope you are looking at this..

"Sony will own 51% of LCE, Universal will own 26%, 13.3% will be publicly traded and remaining 9.7% will
be owned by Charles Bronfman (The
Claridge group)."

CPX merges with Sony and Loews forming LCE (symbol unknown as yet) within 2 weeks.. earnings due today were held up...

take a look at Cineplex Odeon thread here, a lot of it is me lifting from Yahoo.... but it is interesting stuff...

this one is pretty much risk free as I see it.. and plenty of time to get in .... maybe as much as 2 weeks...

I have another stock that might be close to appreciating very soon. Copied from the NAVR thread

Alerts on the Songwire:

Not On The Wires

Techweb says in an article dated 5 May that NAVR is planning an online music retail site

"Advertising and CD sales are the most promising sources for revenue, along with hosting and other cooperative deals. Net Radio was bought in 1996 by music and software distributor Navarre, and plans to open a full-service CD store called CDPoint later this year. "

techweb.com

Navarre NAVR owns NetRadio

netradio.net

the internet radio company whose 150 channels are heard world-wide) and cover every taste from from Christian to Rap (yes ...but when am I going to hear a rap version of Amazing Grace?).

Now the News

A call to NAVR IR confirms the Techweb story that the company is planning its online CDPoint and that it is, in fact- currently in beta

cdpoint.com

The company will be making an announcement to the public/wires in about 2 weeks according to the IR. The site will offer 225k titles and dovetail with NetRadio by offering playlists in what may be a first; online radio+online music retailer. NAVR IR says the company expects both revs and earnings will benefit from the synergies the new
site will create. NAVR announced a private placement last week; trading low 4s

As always these offerings are meant as ideas not recommendations; Buy on weakness-use discretion. I may/may not buy/own any of the ideas mentioned here.
