Re: Pilots vs Libretto

I'ved used both. Even if the Libretto cost the same as a Pilot, I would still use a Pilot.

Why? Because when I push that little green power button on my Pilot, it goes on JUST LIKE THAT. Ready to work. 2 AA batteries last longer than my memory.

Libretto on the other hand is a little micro-notebook. Win95 on a micro-portable, ugh. 75 Mhz CPU, running 95, double-ugh. What you want, Lawrence, is a Nokia 9000i. <g> I think I'll be getting one of those as soon as I have some cash.

Win CE would be better, it has instant power-on like the Pilot from what I hear. Not to say that the Pilot is perfect, I would modify the hardware and the software pretty substantially if I were designing it. <g> They sure missed the boat with Pilot III. Silly mods, nothing useful.

God bless,
PX
