Rudy, I'm not pessimistic at all. I just think that we may have a bit of range trading in the market, maybe even a small correction. I'm trying to take advantage of these short cycles in the oil service stocks to trade, at least with a portion of my portfolio. I've ridden them up and down for the past few months; up is a lot better. <ggg>

I think the intermediate term trend (the next several months) is intact, as is the long term fundamental picture (the next several years).

Last August, after the market peaked and made its first big move down, the oil service sector corrected about 10-12%, I think, then ran up about 30-40%.

Good evening Rudy,

Glad to see I am in good company. I'm in SFR, PKD, KEG, TMAR. PKD & TMAR I recently picked up, KEG & SFR I have had for sometime.

Just to expound on your observations, I believe this summer season especially, will put pressure on oil prices. Everyone I talk to has planned some sort of lengthy vacation and most for the first time in a few years, people will be on the move. Consumers have the money and they are spending it.

Some fund manager(can't remember his name or the fund, sorry), predicted $20 oil sometime this summer. If this happens these stocks will move. I am not worried, timing is maybe not perfect, but the time to buy is when everyone is selling and of course the time to sell is when everyone is buying. I think we are on the correct side of this one.

One question though, is it time to average down or keep our powder dry? I 'm inclined to sit still and watch. PKD at 10.

Also, for those of you with some extra risk capital, I'm picking up some PHV tomorrow. Lots of problems lately, shareholder lawsuits, 180 million of lost scrap copper, $280 million right down of good will, 565,000 loss this last quarter. Why would I buy it? Things can't get any worse, plus new management moving in. They will make money this year. In addition, I believe PHV is selling below book value.

Again, very risky, but could be good short term trade.

Pray for good numbers tomorrow, 250,000 new jobs expected, 4.7% unemployment.

See ya!
