Rob: Thanks, but I'm not that smart, just an old fashioned accountant.

What do I base my negativity, or should I say predicted Nextel price range of 26-28. The Nextel concept is a great dream, but only part of it has come true. Our current investment society seems to always want better. In that regard lets take a look:

Nextel came up with a dream (plan)
.
McCaw, loaded with money, liked the dream (plan) and invested heavily.
The plan started to come into fruition.
.
Investors got excited, subscribers came by the thousands, hype was up.
.
Nextel, infatuated with it's growth, borrowed heavily, swayed from the
plan, ran into typical expansion problems and bad cash flow.
.
In order to support the stock prices, the hype had to be continuous, the budgets met, financial improvement noted, systems completed on schedule, great PR releases to business newspapers. In other words, investors are like little kids, they always have to be re-assured and kept interested.

Al G., I still believe in the plan, but, I'm just another little kid.

Rob..
Nice post....Sorry I can't help you with the fundamentals of Nextel.. Arnie , Ken, Ron, etc. could and would do a much better job than I. IMHO..I believe that this minor dip in the market will be over next week. And a move to new highs in the dow. So, your August calls still have time and life. There should be dips along the way. Will Nextel be able to get above the 32 -34 area..Well lets see how the first leg up moves.
Rob trading a stock is much harder than long term buying. You must have a buying price and have a selling price or target before the game begins. Most long term investors, trying to trade get to emotional with the trade and get sucked into making mistakes..

Good luck..
