Yep. Nobody will know for sure what will happen till it happens in regards to any restructuring of the MIDLP, but it is interesting thinking about the possibilities (however unrealistic they may be). Whatever happens it should be something that makes sense.

The more I think about it, the dividend if there is one will be in the form of MIDLP (perhaps from the treasury stock as you suggested, which is good since it means no additional dilution to the float). It still accomplishes the goal of rewarding shareholders, MIDLP is already trading with an existing base of shareholders, plus it avoids the need of establishing a new market.

If I had to choose one market to do away with and my choices were MIDLP or MIDLW, it would be the MIDLW. Once the stock price is over $2.50 the company can call in the warrants and receive $1 for each warrant, and that is the end of the MIDLW market.

The MIDLP must be kept alive in order to get institutional investors unless another class of preferred is issued, although a class of preferred in which there is already a market for is significantly more attractive.
