Have you? I trust Toms hardware page though.
I run a Millenium II.
The 740i may be good for a low to midrange 3D video card but these Gamesters somehow always want the fastest. Too bad Intel couldn't make a Voodoo2 to go along with the Pentium II. The Voodoo2 cards seem to show off the power of the Pentium II to a much greater degree than a card with a 740i.
I'm afraid that Intel is in the same boat as AMD and Cyrix when it comes to video chips. Good middle of the road but not the cream of the crop.
Jim

Paul:

Have you ever run a system with the Intel i740 Graphics processor?

Have you run a system with the new Matrox MGA200 graphics processor?

Yes and yes ;-)..

I have seen the i740 (which like I told Jim, isn't bad but it's not great either) and I saw a G200 about 1 month ago when I hoped over to Quebec for a conference.. (god/God ;-) bless the internet though.. never even felt like I left home.. but that's another issue all together)..
