>>Grim says that I would like Laurie Dhue<<

She's hot. I've seen her on CNN during the weekends. Too hot for a shy New England boy like yourself <g>

Mike,

This Magner woman was the mother of a guy who had been engaged to Robert Redford's daughter 10 years ago. He was murdered and they have used new technology to link his roommate with the bullets that killed him. He had another last name, so she must have married somebody after his father.

Laurie Dhue I don't know. But, to be fair, I rarely remember reporter's names unless they irritate me or intrigue me. Laurie obviously has done neither. <G>

Dines has been a gold bug since I started following financial markets. But to call himself the original would be a bit of history twisting. Going back, we have 49ers in Calif., folks who riled up the Sioux in the Northwest, alchemists throughout the middle ages and King Midas. Dines is old, but I don't think he's that old. <G>

One problem with Dines is that he is a permabull on gold. He bought real low, but he never sold. One of his comments I remember is "it is always the right time to buy ASA." I can testify that that isn't true. I have bought and sold ASA many times, with a lot of winning trades and a lot of losers. It isn't magic, just another stock. So far, I haven't found any magic stocks. If you find one, I'll trade you the cow for it. <G> But I like to read Dines' stuff. A lot of thought goes into it.
