Elwood,
Compaq is strong in Europe, but I seem to recall that DEC is very strong in Europe. Is my memory good or bad?

Elwood,
Picked this information up while checking out CYCH.

"Digital Equipment Corporation researchers are developing a micropayment system called Millicent which is based on merchant-specific "scrip" that can be used to make purchases only at the particular merchant's web site. However, Digital has not announced a public trial or commercial implementation of this system."

Interesting piece of trivia. Anybody have an opinion on the future of this approach to the electronic banking/commerce area? IMO It appears Dec is approaching the concept in a unique fashion. The approach appears too limited or focused to me. Anyone have any real knowledge in this area? Do we have a hidden gem or chunk of coal?

Euro up, S&P's up...
Asian markets ticked up slightly from their resent decline and with the Europe markets up today, our S&P futures are showing up 2.70.
We're due for a rally in our market and not much in the way of CPQ's march upward. The dreaded Fed fears loom with another important US jobs report ahead of the upcoming FOM meetings. I don't see this as a big threat to our markets with interest rate hikes far to damaging to
Asian future, and a hike because stock share prices are up is an unlikely choise.
The CPQ rocket has been fueled, stand by for takeoff! 3, 2, 1,....
