Len, David, Jerard, All,

Well, heeerrrs another one! Ringing in with a 386DX-25,
8 meg RAM, 1 meg DRAM, with <obligatory drum roll> a 9600-baud (38,400 w/compression) modem. However, I do use a real ISP and run Netscape 2.01 under Windows 3.1.

What can I say? I have time to stop and smell the cyberflowers, and I think Mr. Gates' little hourglass is sorta cute.

Seriously, I usually browse from a Unix shell account running Lynx. Using Lynx, I am probably able to browse faster than you folks with T3 connections to your 6000 mhz Pentiums.

May Silicon Investor ever remain as Lynx-friendly as it is.
