Lisa, Sorry I missed the wink!

But I did watch as you mastered and implemented the TRIN concept; something I've not yet done. I also thought it was great how supportive you were of David in (what must have been) a very difficult time for him.

I encourage you to stick around. The folks in this sandbox have a great international perspective, in addition to being great Dudes.

(sigh) what am I supposed to comment, Lisa? Here's what I think is happening

1. the net is going supercritical worldwide. Something my heart of a physicist would call "phase transition".

2. The world is getting additional qualifier for haves and have nots, ie Internet access aka information. Re information access I would qualify myself as a hopeful maybe. And the have nots dont yet have any clue about this rift. With US building internet2 backbone, the only thing I can do, is buy cisco and hope the proceeds will let me keep stride.

3. POTS or cellular or wireless - what TH is the difference? Somebody sits on the bandwidth (which is as much real estate ie unrenewable as any plot downtown NY) and makes money out it - see DTE as the #1 cable services supplier in Germany. Here comes the invoice again with the DSL down the road.

BTW, DTE used to be #2 in market cap - after Allianz - until yesterday. Now its Daimler-Crysler Allianz DTE.

Steve, start plotting

PS: a multiple-choice question/quizz

On internet2 NatSecAgency will plug into exit
