The present is rarely the future.... It is not as simple as competition. The government is also involved. and how long will it take for the future to become affordable to the masses on a global basis as it is here in the US?.... I dont know. Depends on the government of each respective country And let's say that the cost is exactly the same. There are still cultural and socio-economic issues. Again, the net is far reaching and causes issues that are just beginning to be dealt with...for example....legal jurisdiction for a tort based on the internet.
