Another reason FC will probably not be used for clustering: dolphinics.com It's the old Scalable Coherent Interface we discussed on this thread a long time ago. This product has a 4 gig bandwidth, < 1 microsecond latency, and the support of several industry heavyweights. George D.

You could look at alot of things. Granite an FC company was valued at 220 million a few years ago. One might start there. Have FC companies declined in value since? Brocade goes public eventually and that could be helpful in setting up some sort of valuation. Ancor gets a large OEM and top line growth starts picking up.Pick the PSR of your choice. I think it also will depend how large the FC industry grows, how big the SANS market becomes. Does Ancor stay a switch company or does their 3 year business plan include them branching out into a (niche) networking company that started out with a switch(they do have experience in end to end solutions).Not enough of a tech to really answer that question. So again using alot of words,basically, I don't have a clue. Do I think Ancor is undervalued here. Yes.But trying to see the forest through the trees, one should watch out for falling trees especially if someone yells TIMBER!! One way to get crushed. Am I bummed out about the Knicks losing a game they could have won. ABSOLUTELY!!!!
