Donald, I am not sure exactly what you are talking about regarding proof of the resurrection. Many Christians, who do not take the Bible literally, believe that the resurrection represents the rebirth of spirituality within the self. The resurrection story is a very common one historically, and there were twelve gods prior to Jesus who were resurrected after being crucified. The Egyptian myth of Isis and Orisis is typical of the resurrection mythology.

The Bible was written by men, over a very long period of time, and then collected as the Christians and the Jews finally split. While the Gospels all tell similar stories, Luke's Gospel is the only one which refers to the virgin birth. Luke was Greek, and was strongly influenced by Hellenistic mythology of virgin births.

I am not mocking anything, or anyone. This thread was not created only for very conservative Christians to threaten anyone else who wishes to discuss belief systems here. Certainly, I have always said that everyone's belief systems should be respected, to the extent that they do not hurt others.
