Interesting headline in Hongkong paper: "Hong Kong 9 months behind on millenium bug" - I will be amazed if this is all, but this is the view of the CIA who are surveying international security risks of the bug. Great quote from Tung Chee-hwa on Y2K (our version of Bill Clinton without the interesting sex scandals) " Since July 1, I have become an expert on chickens and ducks, and on fish and pigs and everything else. But that is one thing I have not mastered yet." (You may or may not have heard of Bird Flu, the Red Tide of algae killing our fish, and the threat from eating pigs lungs due to hormone injections - it's bit like the Egyptian plagues here at the moment !
