Both orders worked against me, the am order was a sell at 3 1/2, on a stock that reached 4 1/2 that day and as high as 6 9/32 the next week. The pm was a buy to cover at 5, then the stock fell to 3 1/2 the next day. It might be something that is better avoided. Oh yes, the pm I wanted filled so I could sleep better, and I kept 1/2 the position, which I covered at 4.

I also defunded my account after the first incident, but missed the ability to short the MARG's and PNDA's of the world, and determined to just have no orders that I didn't want filled out there.

For me that's not the point. I need to know that they have a given policy and adhere to that policy. The fact that today its in your favor can quickly become a nightmare the next time.

Then of course there's the problem of which way they will interpert the policy the next time. My limited experience, is beginning to suggest that Datek is using these after hours fills on what should be a closed day order (expired) to shave points for themselves.
