Dear John: When you meet these guys face to face you find that they are men of vision and commitment and see themselves as the next MSFT or IBM founders. They feel secure without the partners. When they get the FDA final approval and the Medicare stuff out of the way there problem will be manufacturing enough machines and training those who will be lining up to use the device. Think about it. It is non-invasive, it is less dangerous, it consumes less OR time, you don't have to"restart" a human heart, recovery is much faster and less painful etc. This thing is a boon to cardio-thorasic medicine and they see themselves as the Edisons of the field. Hang in there these men have. JFD
