John B developed his theory in the early/mid 80's when computers first began to be heavily used in a price predictive fashion. Said perimeters back then were known as "envelopes" and Bollinger codified it and so it bears his name. Hope this piece of history will cause you to add this tool to your pricing considerations. O/49r
