I was wondering Ben if you noticed any bias in movements
toward the max-pain-point (let's call the damn thing MPP
from now on) - ie. is a movement down to an MPP more
reliable than a movement up to an MPP. I would think that
many call writers are covered call writers. Their large
holdings of the underlying stock give them a lever to move
the price down (by carefully timed selling). On the other
hand put writers are mostly uncovered and have less leverage
for manipulating a stock's price up.
