Walter,

I would buy more PMCS if the market overreacts to this
news. This may be contributing to the weakness in the
stock the last few day.

Walter,

Intel's networking products are primarily fast ethernet (100MBS)
devices/cards. They are starting to become more interested
in designing ATM components. There are many types of ATM components
such as cell processors, framers , line interface devices etc..
The line cards are the heavy hitters in ATM switches and PMCS
devices are populated on most if not all the switches. Intel
does not (to my knowledge) have competing products with PMCS
except for their ethernet devices. Intel should purchase
PMCS if they are serious about entering this area. A $70
price would be reasonable although as a shareholder of PMCS
I feel in the longer term PMCS would do better as an independent
company.
