Investing in the stock market is somewhat like gambling. Knowledge and experience are helpful, but luck is definitely the number one ingredient for success, IMHO. If I'm wrong on EGRP, then tough luck. You can continue shorting EGRP, "but don't say I didn't warn you."

I forgot to mention I also tried Datek before. I also had accounts with Dean Witter and R. J. Forbes a while back. Given my experience with the full service broker, the discount broker, and the online brokers, I'm confident with my E*TRADE judgement -- it probably will be the Dell or the Coca Cola of the online trading business. As for realtime quotes, I don't think you got my point.

BTW, I've just lost ~$10k shorting AOL and YHOO this past few months, so good luck on your EGRP short...
