Holy,

Believe it or don't, tremors from the New Madrid fault can be felt up in Wisconsin. When I worked in Chicago about 10 years ago we felt a rumble on the 22nd floor of our building and thought there was an explosion in the subway or something. Turns out it was a 4.something tremor centered in southeast Missouri and it was felt by all within something like an 800 mile radius.

When the NMF has its big one, it will cause damage in at least 10 states.
