Meekwap + little gas from Strachan = Profit of 100% for me

I do speculate on bank stocks, so for me banks stocks are speculative, bought and sold CIBC three times this year and made money,
my last position on CIBC is still waiting to be sold, I re-bought it few days ago, I am doing the same with TD bank. What I want to say is that a stock is speculative or not depends on how you see it and why you bought it. Investment terms can be flexible in my own dictionary !

In my wishful thinking, I thought we may need to spend more $$$ on the Strachan for development reasons. dreaming is a habit that I can't stop ! ! !

Hmmm.. where do I start with a response to that note? I will try.

On your last note: Yes, I have seen situations where a completed and cased well, placed on production, exceeded expectations. However, these were the exception and not the rule and were outnumbered, BY FAR, wells for which high hopes were held... and they did not pan out quite as expected.

On one of your first comments re: a cased well equating to an economic well or, for that matter, one which will be placed on production, I disagree. Some companies do case wells which are not economic. On that point I stand firm as it is a fact.

As for manipulation? I don't think so. I am keeping my ear very close to the ground and if I ever feel that the situation on the Strachan well has turned very positive, I may be a buyer. As for now, I hold no shares of Dalton, Tusk, Apache or First Star. My "speculative" oil and gas investments are Diaz Energy and Wolverine.

PS: age is irrelevant here... knowledge is not.

mike
