I don't have a "short to zero" philosophy. Like any other investor, I will occasionally take profits and perhaps reshort on future runups. I recently covered Zitel at 8 and change after holding a large short position for over a year on the expectation that the Zit would make a last gasp - though it seems that was a mistake (The zit is now down to 7 and change). My price target for the Zit hasn't changed. It will trade below 1.
