Jobs Data: 08:32 ET: Results of April's employment data with market expectations in parentheses: Nonfarm payrolls 262 (250K); Unemployment rate 4.3% (4.6%); Hourly earnings 0.3% (0.3%); and Average workweek 34.4 (34.7)... Initial reaction mixed... 30-yr bond -7/32 at 5.97% .... S&P futures +3.70. Wow, I've never seen the unemployment as low as 4.3%. Is this due to the seasonality of construction industry employment?

Pat: Thanks for keeping an eye on my investments.Looks like bears could not mount a sustained charge.Any gunfire???(gg) Lets go to 90 today, been very patient about that. A friend just bought in at 87 and that is tense until it gains a few points. I was at Jim Kelly's office this morning- very painless procedure, a drip in the arm( They used to call that F@F real cool stuff Tim O'leary would have liked it). Just kidding about that, Jim Laid a half hour of sales talk about Dell on some people. I am with Venkie on the Spaz treatments, good for any ailments, but the effects can wear off fast Ericy has been moving up steadily so am happy with that too. I have no regrets about sticking with the techs as opposed to oils,airlines,they go up and then down, can be very good to experienced traders.But I prefer the simple life with some calls on Dell,lu or ericy or ci or yhoo thrown in to add spice. A bit of ifly and spaz. And for PVW, I bought 50 PLAT (so there)ggggg Thanks Sig
