Skeets, other posters have talked of inability to find shares to borrow. Your idea is right on just try to find the shares to short!

SB, The problem is, you never know where a short sale will be manipulated to. Especially in this market. Resorts International was bankrupt, but it creamed a lot of short sellers. And Presstek has nothing under the phony glitz , and it went to $200 for no reason other than to irritate me. <G> Truth comes out eventually, but it can be painful in the meantime. Also, the stock is so obviously a fluff job that it may be a trap. So, I'd prefer to buy long term puts. Haven't seen any, but that is my druthers.
