After reading your post on the 10% discount, I checked with my Waterhouse account officer, and was informed that the 10% discount for owning TD shares does not apply to internet trades, where the lowest price available is the $12 fee. In fact, he said that the only discount available for TD shareholders was a 5% discount on trades done through a live broker, where the commission starts at $35.

I have got discounts on the $35 commissions (when you call the broker on the phone) in the past. I have also had to remind them I am a share holder to get the discount. I have never got a discount trading online though.

Sorry I did not respond sooner, have been out of town for a week.
