As the market is chugging along here, you and I both know that a rate hike is inevitable.

I think this second rally that the market has cooking will fail and can be shorted for a chicken trade.

But the upshot of this activity, if it continues, certainly shall result in a rate hike. I don't see how Greenspan could avoid it.

Of course, this is just my gut feel on the matter.
