We don't like the questions ... let's shoot the messenger. OK, OK, it is true that in the past CCUR provided little information on their system either on the web or in literature, and in the past I have made some assumptions that were wrong, like about using VME as a backplane. So I deserve a dig or two. Fine. But hey ... who else here is trying to figure out the viability of their products (and others) in the marketplace that will generate REVENUE, PROFITS, and higher stock prices ??? I don't like to go on FAITH, that's dumb. It will be the true attractiveness of their offerings that will tell the story of their future. The fact is no-one has signed any big deals with CCUR that we know of and we should all be concerned about that. RIGHT ?? CCUR has recently changed their IVoD web page information and that is where my questions now come from. If the information is not clear there, wrong, or questionable, I think CCUR would like to know about it and fix it. Otherwise technically savvy engineers at integrator houses (like cable co's) will realize the information on the web-site and in their marketing literature is a bit bogus, and they won't trust CCUR ... especially of concern are industries who have never heard of CCUR, which in the case of VoD is just about everyone. People here with a technical background should be able to help find the answers. I think CCUR should answer them on their web page by clarifying the information they already have. If their technical claims come with all sorts of unidentified conditions, we all should be concerned. I invest in tech stocks because I am an Engineer and I do better investing in what I know. My questions are valid, and any Engineers who would be looking at the various IVoD offerings would notice the same issues I have. I just want the truth. If someone claims to have a car that get's 80 mpg, wouldn't you want to know a bit on how they do it, when they seem to use the same base technologies ? There is a bit of "Let's shoot the messenger" attitude here, as well as "Let's not ask the questions because I may not like the answer", when we should all be very interested in how CCUR's offerings accomplish what they claim, and how their system(s) compare to that of competing offerings. I want to place my money in the smartest companies and not in the ones who are clever enough to lull investors by great claims and masterful "spins." I have money in CCUR that I want to grow (and not loose !) and I can only decide to add more or take some out based on good information. So anything anyone can find out on these questions would be appreciated.
