I was hoping the pair would find common ground and adapt ftel as their supplier, words keep coming back, of supplying the bullets, the problem maybe prolonging news, since the merger is on the front burner for wcom, and putting franklin on the back burner. Long on Franklin, Go Frank!!!!!!!!!!

Lew, I doubt that the GTE opposition to the WCOM/MCI merger will have much of an affect on FTEL, at this point. I do not believe that FTEL's Co-Location agreement covers the MCI POPs, unless there is a forward looking statement discussing the future POPs that WCOM acquires. So, I doubt that this changes our plans at this point. If the MCI deal is approved, it gives FTEL the opportunity to try and Co-Locate in the MCI POPs, since they already have the 'In' with the company; however, can't imagine it is a done deal. If the merger goes through it will be a good for FTEL, but if not, I do not believe it alters our current prospects and plans.

Anyone have some thoughts on this?
