Wade,

Some people must be thinking of future as opposed to past sales. Sector interest may also be a factor. The Internet related stocks seem to have been taken for a 'ride' and evaluations of the industry may be experiencing a 'paradigm shift'.

Just some of my thoughts...

go2net reported revenue of $609,143 for the most recent quarter ending March 31, 1998.

The 10-Q report filed with Edgar is at:

For the corresponding quarter, Silicon Investor had revenue of about $326,000. go2net's combined revenue for the quarter ending March 31, 1998 is north of $900,000.

After the merger closes, there will be approximately 5.8 million shares outstanding, giving go2net a market cap of $174 million based on a price of $30 per share.

The annualized Price to Sales ratio for go2net is about 48 (assuming March 31 quarter revenue of $900,000, 5.8 million shares outstanding, and a price of $30 per share).
