Jerard, Sports teams seem to be the first experience of blind faith that a child consciously makes. While as a youngster, you might in fact have that same complete belief in your family, it is not the same as actually choosing a team as YOUR team. As a result, there are far more schoolyard fights about team loyalties instead of an argument about the relative merits of Socialism vs. Capitalism. Eventually these same misguided individuals end up being stock promoters or God help us Bond salesman! >;) Regards, Tom F.
