I was reading over the prospectus for the upcoming Board Meeting when I noticed two significant compensation issues with Mr. Yocam. First of all, he received a one-time signing bonus of $3,864,184. In addition, he received $3,849,908 to purchase a residence. This is in addition to his 1,680,000 options to purchase borl stock. I certainly believe Mr. Yocam has done a tremendous job repositioning the company into the enterprise; however, I would like to see Mr. Yocam purchase some stock on the open market. If he really believes he has turned the corner with this company, he needs to put his money where his mouth is and help us shareholders out. I have been in and out of borl over the last five years. I currently own 2400 shares and like Merrill Lynch would like to see some appreciation. So Mr. Yocum, how about using some of that bonus for this year ($240,000) and buying some stock.

I wonder why Del didn't just choose the "Integrated Enterprise Corp", or IEC, or something like that as the name of the company. Of course this is all useless 2nd-guessing. But Inprise sounds to me like somekind of uncomfortable transplant that you stick into a person's orifices.
