Bob,

I've been slowly accumulating, 100 shares at a time. My average cost is about $35 per share, so I'm looking pretty good right now with the stock in the $45-$48 range. I did my own fundamentals analysis on the stock and I can see this stock easily doubling over the next five years, although I really expect a double in maybe about 3 1/2 years. Are you a fundamentals or a technicals investor? What are your thoughts? If you like ROST, I have another one in the same general category. A company called VF Corp (Vanity Fair; VFC) has posted record earnings for the last 8 straight quarters. I've heard rumors that numbers 9 and 10 are on the way. I've been waiting for a retracement in the price, but with these numbers, no large price dips are visible in the foreseeable future. I have a VF outlet down here by me, and my wife and I shop there often. The store is perpetually busy. I've never seen a slow day, though I'm sure they have them. Come Xmas, this little mall really booms with sales. I'll probably bite the bullet and buy in 100 share increments over time. The down side is that VFC is a true smallcap to microcap company, and thusly is not really in the view of most of Wall Street. I know that they're not in Value Line, and I suspect they don't have more than 1 or 2 or 3 analysts that provide limited coverage of their firm. I used to go to Reading, Pennsylvania which is where this company started, when I lived back east. Practically the whole town is one big retail outlet store. They used to bus people in from hundreds of miles around. It was really something to see. I wonder if this is still true? Oh well, good investing luck.
