That is funny.

However, I have to agree with tmrent about shooting the messenger and sticking one's head in the sand. However, since he is one with the technical knowledge to carry on an intelligent discussion, I think your suggestion that he call the company is a good one.

BEWARE: Per stream cost comparisons

There is no agreed-upon standard to measure per stream cost. Ideally it is the total installed cost with all the routers, servers, switches, tertiary storage, CONTENT licenses, and STBs.

Unless it is an Apples-to-Apples comparison, it is not worth anything. Most vendors define it to work best from their perspective.

Ken, can you tell us how CCUR defines per-steam cost ?

Ken,just wanted to thank you for your report on the show..Checked out SEAC thread and IR rep is telling SEAC people
"Concurrent and others were running fabricated demos optimized for the trade show...only SEAC had a true RF network running with SFA." They all seem very defensive..
